''Take Me Out'' was an Australian television dating game show hosted by Joel Creasey and premiered on the Seven Network from 3 September 2018 until 27 November 2018. The show was filmed at Fox Studios Australia. ''Take Me Out'' is essentially based on the same format as ''Taken Out'', a 2008 dating game show developed by FremantleMedia and hosted by James Kerley. Joel Creasey
Joel Creasey (born 11 August 1990) is an Australian stand-up comedian, actor, television and radio presenter. Creasey has performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, as well as performing at the New York International Fringe Festival in 2013 and 2014 and the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015. In September 2020, Creasey joined Nova FM's national radio show ''Kate, Tim & Joel'' as a co-host with Kate Ritchie and Tim Blackwell. Early life Creasey was born in the Sydney suburb of Baulkham Hills and moved to Perth at a young age. His father, Terry, worked as a model while his mother, Jenny, was a singer. The couple met on the set of '' Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back'' in which they both appeared as extras. Blackout (wartime)
A blackout during war, or in preparation for an expected war, is the practice of collectively minimizing outdoor light, including upwardly directed (or reflected) light. This was done in the 20th century to prevent crews of enemy aircraft from being able to identify their targets by sight, such as during the London Blitz of 1940. In coastal regions, a shoreside blackout of city lights also helped protect ships from being seen silhouetted against the artificial light by enemy submarines farther out at sea. Wollongong ( ), colloquially referred to as The Gong, is a city located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. The name is believed to originate from the Dharawal language, meaning either 'five islands/clouds', 'ground near water' or 'sound of the sea'. Benalla is a small city located on the Broken River gateway to the High Country north-eastern region of Victoria, Australia, about north east of the state capital Melbourne.
