Tag Rugby Trust
The Tag Rugby Trust is a rugby based charity, formed in 2002. The trust was established to help improve the lives of children in the United Kingdom, but mainly in some of the most underprivileged regions of the world. They currently work with government schools and orphanages in Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, India, Kenya, Mexico and Romania using the game of Tag Rugby as a vehicle. Volunteers from the U.K. and the underprivileged areas work closely with children in a coaching Coaching is a form of development in which an experienced person, called a ''coach'', supports a learner or client in achieving a specific personal or professional goal by providing training and guidance. Rugby Football
Rugby football is the collective name for the team sports of rugby union and rugby league. Canadian football and, to a lesser extent, American football were once considered forms of rugby football, but are seldom now referred to as such. The governing body of Canadian football, Football Canada, was known as the Canadian Rugby Union as late as 1967, more than fifty years after the sport parted ways with rugby rules. An orphanage is a Residential education, residential institution, total institution or group home, devoted to the Childcare, care of orphans and children who, for various reasons, cannot be cared for by their biological families. The parents may be deceased, absent, or abusive. There may be substance abuse or mental illness in the biological home, or the parent may simply be unwilling to care for the child. The legal responsibility for the support of abandoned children differs from country to country, and within countries. Government-run orphanages have been phased out in most developed countries during the latter half of the 20th century but continue to operate in many other regions internationally.
