TPC River's Bend is a private golf club located in Maineville, Ohio about 25 miles northeast of Cincinnati. The Arnold Palmer-designed championship golf course opened in 2001, and is a licensed member of the Tournament Players Club Network. It is owned by Dallas-based Arcis Golf, which purchased the facility from the PGA Tour in December 2022; it is one of nearly 70 Arcis-owned courses in the U.S. The par-72, 7,180-yard course meanders through corridors of mature hardwoods, creeks, and waterfalls, and features gentle elevation changes. Water comes into play on six holes. The course also has a 12-acre PGA Tour-caliber practice facility, which includes multiple tees as well as a short-game practice area for chipping and putting. Bruce Patton Summerhays (born February 14, 1944) is an American professional golfer. He served as a mission president for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tampa, Florida. Career Summerhays was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended the University of Utah and turned professional in 1966. Summerhays spent his regular (under 50) career competing in mainly local events, but as a senior he has competed successfully on the Champions Tour. He has won three Champions Tour events and over $9 million in prize money. Gil Morgan
Gilmer Bryan Morgan II, OD (born September 25, 1946) is an American professional golfer. Morgan was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He graduated from East Central State College in Ada, Oklahoma in 1968. In 1972, Morgan earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee before turning professional at golf later that year. He is a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. Morgan won seven events on the PGA Tour between 1977 and 1990. He was also one of the most consistent top five finishers during this period. He posted 21 2nd place and 21 3rd place finishes on the PGA Tour in his career. The most prestigious tournament he won on the PGA Tour was the 1978 World Series of Golf. Robert Bryan Gilder (born December 31, 1950) is an American professional golfer. He won six tournaments on the PGA Tour and currently plays on the Champions Tour, where he has ten wins since joining in 2001. Early years Born in Corvallis, Oregon, Gilder graduated from Corvallis High School and attended Arizona State University in Tempe. He walked on to the Sun Devils' golf team, and was the 1973 Western Athletic Conference individual golf champion. PGA Tour Gilder turned pro later that year and found success soon thereafter. He won a tournament on the Australian Tour, New Zealand Open, a year after turning professional. He shot 283 (−5) and defeated Australia's Jack Newton and New Zealand legend Bob Charles in a playoff. PGA Tour Champions (formerly the Senior PGA Tour and the Champions Tour) is a men's professional senior golf tour, administered as a branch of the PGA Tour. History and format The Senior PGA Championship, founded in 1937, was for many years the only high-profile tournament for golfers over 50. Maineville is a village in Warren County, Ohio, United States. The population was 975 at the 2010 census. History Maineville was incorporated as a village on March 23, 1850. Tournament Players Club (TPC) is a chain of public and private golf courses operated by the PGA Tour. Most of the courses either are or have been hosts for PGA Tour events, with the remainder having frequently hosted events on the Korn Ferry Tour or PGA Tour Champions.
