Gábor Török (political Scientist)
Gábor Török (born 11 August 1971) is a Hungarian political scientist and historian, associate professor at the Institute of Political Science of the Corvinus University of Budapest. Biography Gábor Török was born in Szombathely on 11 August 1971. He graduated from Nagy Lajos Secondary School, located in Szombathely, in 1989. He received his diplomas from the Eötvös Loránd University in history and political theory, both with distinction. In 1997, he placed first in the National Academic Student Conference. He received the Pro Scientia gold-medal in 1998 for excellence in studies and preeminent academic achievement. He earned his PhD summa cum laude from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences in 2005. He teaches at the Corvinus University of Budapest since 1997. László Török
László Török (13 May 1941 – 17 September 2020) was a Hungarian historian, archaeologist, and Egyptologist. His works on the ancient Coptic language, Ancient Egypt, ancient Nubia, and the Kingdom of Kush were highly regarded. He was a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Biography Török studied architecture at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, graduating in 1964. In 1968, he earned a doctoral degree in architectural history. From 1971 to 1972, he studied coptology at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. From 1981 to 1984, Török headed the department of Roman archaeology at the Archaeological Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Ferenc Török (born Budapest, 23 April 1971) is a Hungarian film director. He has received Béla Balázs Award, a state recognition for outstanding achievement in filmmaking. Gyula Török
Gyula Török (24 January 1938 – 12 January 2014) was an amateur Hungarian boxer. Competing in the flyweight division he won the national title in 1957–58, a silver medal at the 1959 European Championships, and a gold medal at the 1960 Olympics. After that he moved to bantamweight and won three more national titles in 1961, 1962 and 1964. He lost to Primo Zamparini in a quarter-final of the 1961 European Championships, and to Oleg Grigoryev in his first bout at the 1964 Olympics. Török retired from competitions in 1966 and for 40 years worked at the Kispest Granite Factory. In parallel he coached boxers at Építők SC in 1976–78 and at Csepel SC in 1978–81. Bódog Török (2 November 1923 – 16 October 2012 in Budapest) was a Hungarian handball player, coach and sports official. He was the longest serving and the most successful coach in the history of the Hungarian women's national team. Török was born and died in Budapest. He began his playing career with Dunai Repülőgépgyár in 1943. In 1945, he switched to MÁV Északi Főműhely and a year later to Rendőrség. From 1947 until his retirement in 1965 he played for Kistext.
