Tácio Caetano Cruz Queiroz
Tácio Caetano Cruz Queiroz (born 7 August 1980), better known as just Tácio, is a former professional Brazilian footballer who played as defensive midfielder. In 1997, he was part of the Brazilian team that won the 1997 South American Under-17 Football Championship. Biography EC Vitória Born in Valença, Bahia, Tácio started his career at Vitória. He played the 1998 1998 Copa do Brasil's edition and the Campeonato Baiano of that same season. In June 1998, he signed with A.C. Venezia along with Marcone and Bilica. He played once in 1998–99 Coppa Italia, a 1–1 draw with Juventus. In January 1999, Tácio returned to Vitória, as his non-EU quota was transferred to newcomer Álvaro Recoba. Between 1999 and 2000, Tácio played 36 matches in Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Copa João Havelange combined. 1997 South American Under-17 Football Championship
The 1997 South American Under-17 Football Championship was played in Paraguay from 28 February to 16 March 1997. The host of the competition were the cities of Asunción, Pedro Juan Caballero and Encarnación. Sandro Hiroshi was banned for 180 days in 1999 when it was discovered that his age had been falsified in the 1997 tournament. Brazil did not face team sanctions as the federation argued that Hiroshi acted without its authorization. First round The 10 national teams were divided in 2 groups of 5 teams each. The Campeonato Baiano is the football league of the state of Bahia, Brazil. The championship has been played since 1905 without interruption. 2020 format First stage: 10 teams are included in one group, playing once only against all teams in the group. The four best teams qualify to the semifinals, while the last-placed team is relegated to the Second Level. Final stage The four best teams play in a two-legged knockout tie, with the first facing the fourth and the second facing the third placed. The Copa do Brasil 1998 was the 10th staging of the Copa do Brasil. The competition started on January 20, 1998, and concluded on May 30, 1998, with the second leg of the final, held at the Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, in which Palmeiras lifted the trophy for the first time with a 2–0 victory over Cruzeiro.
