Tyler Pitlick
Tyler Pitlick (born November 1, 1991) is an American professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2nd round (31st overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Early life Pitlick was born on November 1, 1991, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He grew up in Champlin, Minnesota, but moved to Lino Lakes and later Centerville in middle school to be with his mother Amy. His father John worked as a researcher in Minneapolis and served as a local hockey coach, but he chose not to coach his son. The Edmonton Oilers are a professional ice hockey team based in Edmonton. The Oilers compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference. Lino Lakes, Minnesota
Lino Lakes is a city in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 21,399 at the 2020 census. Interstates 35W and 35E are two of Lino Lakes's main routes. It is an outer suburb north of the Twin Cities. History When European settlers arrived, Native Americans already lived in the area where what are now called Reshanau, Baldwin, Rice and Marshan Lakes cluster. The Dakota people found this to be a land of plenty, with abundant wild rice and small game. Several Native American burial grounds are in the area. White hunters and trappers began coming to the area from both Canada and the eastern states around 1850. Those who settled on the lake's west side had names like Ramsden, Speiser, and Wenzel. Philippe Cornet (born March 28, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing for the Kassel Huskies of the German second tier DEL2. Cornet was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the fifth round (133rd overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career As a youth, Cornet played in the 2003 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Val'd-Or Foreurs minor ice hockey team. The Oklahoma City Barons were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). The team's first season was 2010–11 AHL season, 2010–11. A two-way contract is a professional sports contract that stipulates that an athlete's salary is dependent upon the league in which the athlete is assigned to play. The Western Hockey League (WHL) is a major junior ice hockey league based in Western Canada and the Northwestern United States.
