Tyler Matthews
Tyler P. Matthews (born December 1, 1996) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 15 Chevrolet Camaro for JD Motorsports. Racing career Camping World Truck Series On January 28, 2018, it was announced that Matthews would drive part-time for MDM Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 99 truck. He finished 21st in his only start for the MDM team. Later in the 2018 season, Matthews ran the No. 83 for MB Motorsports at Gateway, finishing 17th after avoiding some of the chaos late in the going. He ran Kentucky in the No. 83 for Copp Motorsports in a partnership with NextGen Motorsports, wrecking on the first lap and finishing last. Richlands, North Carolina
Richlands is a town in Onslow County, North Carolina, United States. The 2010 population was 1,520. It is included in the Jacksonville, North Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area. Incorporated on March 29, 1880, it was the first town in Onslow County to have its own library and museum (home of the Onslow County Museum). Copp Motorsports
Copp Motorsports was an American professional stock car racing team that competed in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. The team was owned by D. J. Copp. The team fielded the No. 63 Chevrolet Silverado part-time for Bobby Gerhart, Timmy Hill and Scott Stenzel. Copp purchased the assets of Contreras Motorsports in early 2017 to make the team. History During the early part of 2017, D. J. Copp bought the assets of the race team an acquaintance of his, Carlos Contreras, owned. Copp renumbered the trucks from the Contreras No. 71 to the traditional Copp family number, No. 83. In the beginning of the 2017 season, Copp and his wife were the only two full-time employees of the team.
