Two Cow Garage
Two Cow Garage is an American band from Columbus, Ohio. History The group was formed in September 2001 by the singer/guitarist Micah Schnabel (born in Bucyrus, Ohio), who began playing with the drummer Dustin Harigle in and around Columbus. Guitarist Chris Flint joined the group after seeing one of their early shows, and bass guitarist Shane Sweeney joined soon after. Shelterhouse Records
The Shelterhouse, formerly Drop Inn Center, is a homeless shelter in Cincinnati, Ohio. The name was a reference to " drop-in center". The Shelterhouse is the largest homeless shelter in Cincinnati. History The Shelterhouse began in the early 1970s. The shelter's founder, Buddy Gray, took people off the street into his own apartment. The shelter formalized and began as an evening shelter for the homeless in Cincinnati in 1973. It occupied a series of storefronts in Over-the-Rhine, first at 1713 Vine St. and later at 1324 Main Street. In 1976, city politics and a lack of funding threatened the shelter with closure on the weekends. Suburban Home Records and Distribution is a record label based in Denver, Colorado, United States. The label was founded in 1995 by Virgil Dickerson, and is known for focusing on vinyl releases and bands in the pop-punk and alt-country genres. Its roster has included Two Cow Garage, Drag the River, Oblivion, The Gamits, and Apocalypse Hoboken. Glossary is an American rock band from Murfreesboro, Tennessee that formed in 1997. History Glossary released their debut LP Southern by the Grace of Location on Champ Records in 1998, followed by All We've Learned About Living in 2000. They released a pair of albums on Undertow Music, How We Handle Our Midnights (2003) and For What I Don't Become (2006), followed by Feral Fire in 2010 on Liberty & Lament records, and finally Long Live All of Us in 2011 via Last Chance Records and Xtra Mile Recordings. The band appeared on an episode of Last Call With Carson Daly in 2013, performing Lonely is a Town. In 2013 the band was forced to cancel tour dates and go on hiatus after drummer Eric Giles injured his shoulder. The band reunited for a series of 20th anniversary shows in late 2017. Lydia Loveless (born September 4, 1990; as Lydia Ankrom) is an American alternative country singer-songwriter from Columbus, Ohio. Her music combines pop music, classic country, honky tonk, and punk rock. Early life Loveless was born in Coshocton, Ohio, in the Newcastle area. She is the daughter of Parker Chandler and has two older sisters, Eleanor Sinacola and Jessica, who now performs under the stage name "Jessica Wabbit". Loveless grew up on a farm in a rural area outside of Coshocton and was home-schooled. She said she felt like an outcast in a town that emphasized religion and conformity until she moved to Columbus, Ohio when she was 14.
