This list of churches in Rogaland is a list of the Church of Norway churches in Rogaland county, Norway. The churches are all part of the Diocese of Stavanger. The diocese is based at the Stavanger Cathedral in the city of Stavanger. The list is divided into nine sections, one for each Deanery () in the county. Administratively each deanery is divided up into church council () districts which usually correspond to the municipalities within each deanery. Each municipal church council may be made up of more than one parish (), each of which may have their own council (). Each parish may have one or more congregations in it. The municipality of Stavanger is a special case since it has a large population and a large area. The central part of the city is its own deanery and the areas surrounding the city centre belong to a different deanery, and the outlying island areas belong to another deanery. Bekkefaret Church ( no, Bekkefaret kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the Bekkefaret neighborhood in the borough of Hillevåg in the city of Stavanger. It is the church for the Bekkefaret parish which is part of the Stavanger domprosti (arch- deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The red brick church was built in a semi-circular design in 1977 using designs by the architects Per Amund Riseng and Jan Stensrud. The church seats about 550 people. Frue Church or Hetland Church ( no, Frue kirke/Hetlandskirken) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Storhaug in the centre of the city of Stavanger. It is one of the two churches for the St. Johannes parish which is part of the Stavanger domprosti (arch- deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The white, wooden church was built in the long church style in 1854 using designs by the architect Hans Hansen Kaas. The church seats about 700 people. The church was originally built as the main church for the old municipality of Hetland and it was known as ''Hetland Church'', but after it was merged into the city of Stavanger, the church has been officially known as Frue Church, however the old name is still in use. Eiganes og Våland is a borough of the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. Hundvåg (island)
Hundvåg is an island in Stavanger municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The island is located in the borough of Hundvåg, just north of the centre of the city of Stavanger, separated by the Byfjorden. The island is relatively flat and very urbanized. There were 9803 residents of the island in 2014. There are some agricultural areas as well as a lot of industry. The small island of Buøy is connected to the south side of Hundvåg by a small man-made isthmus. Hundvåg Church is located on the island.
