Tulsa Athletics
Tulsa Athletic is an American soccer team and are based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. 2013 was their inaugural season in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), which is a national league at the fourth tier of the American soccer pyramid. They compete in the NPSL's Heartland Conference. The team maintains amateur status under NPSL rules, allowing college players to participate without losing their collegiate eligibility. The club currently plays at Athletic Community Field at Hicks Park since the 2022 season, having previously played at Veterans Park (2018–21), LaFortune Stadium (2017) and Drillers Stadium (2013-16), the former home of the Tulsa Drillers baseball team. 2021 NPSL Season
The 2021 National Premier Soccer League season is the 19th season of the National Premier Soccer League and part of the 109th season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States. The 2020 season was cancelled after five weeks of play due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Miami FC, the defending league champions from 2019, left in the previous off-season and joined the National Independent Soccer Association and later the USL Championship. The regular season started on May 1 and scheduled to conclude on July 17. There are 76 teams participating in this season with a further 14 playing in conferences that decided not to participate in the summer season. Format changes The 2021 season saw a number of changes with many in part due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic. Both the Northwest and Golden Gate Conference will not take part in traditional summer season. Levi Coleman
Levi Coleman (born December 14, 1986 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is an American soccer player who currently is the head coach of Tulsa Athletic and an assistant at Oral Roberts University. Career Youth and college Coleman attended Broken Arrow High School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and played two years of college soccer at the Florida International University, before transferring to the University of Missouri-Kansas City prior to his junior year. At FIU he was named to the Conference USA all-Freshman team, while at UMKC he was a second team all-Summit League selection, and was named to the all-Newcomer team in 2008. During his college years Coleman also played for the Palm Beach Pumas and Kansas City Brass in the USL Premier Development League. The 2022 National Premier Soccer League season was the 20th season of the National Premier Soccer League and part of the 110th season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States. 2018 NPSL Season
The 2018 National Premier Soccer League season was part of the 106th season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States and the 16th season of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). Elm City Express was the defending champion. The 2018 NPSL champion qualifies to play for the 2019 Hank Steinbrecher Cup organized by the United States Adult Soccer Association. The NPSL has elected to use results of the 2018 league season to determine which NPSL clubs qualify for the 2019 U.S. Open Cup.
