Tullamore is a small town in Parkes Shire in the Central West of New South Wales, Australia. At the , Tullamore had a population of 369. It lies in wheat-growing country. Tullamore has a railway station on the Bogan Gate–Tottenham Branch line. Orange is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales. It is a regional electorate that covers four local government areas in their entirety: the City of Orange, Cabonne Council, Parkes Shire and Forbes Shire. The seat has been held by Philip Donato since a by-election in November 2016. Donato was initially elected as a member of the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party but resigned in 2022 and became an Independent. History Orange was created in 1859. Peak Hill is a town in Parkes Shire in the Central West of New South Wales, Australia. At the , Peak Hill had a population of 1,106 people. It is located on the Newell Highway and the Parkes to Narromine railway line. History Before the arrival of Europeans, the Peak Hill area was part of the Wiradjuri people's lands. In 1817, the explorer John Oxley and his party were the first Europeans in the region. In 1889, Gold was discovered in the area, and later that year Peak Hill was gazetted in November 1889. The Post office opened on 7 November 1889, and the Bureau of Meteorology's weather station began in 1965. The first public wheat silo built in Australia was constructed at Peak Hill in 1918 after government surveys indicated the district had great potential as a wheat-producing region. Tullamore (; ) is the county town of County Offaly in Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The Tullamore PA & H Association Inc. Annual show, or Tullamore Show, is a two-day agricultural and livestock show held on the second Saturday of August each year near the township of Tullamore, New South Wales. The 2021 edition was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, and the PA & H was one of a group of agricultural societies to receive organisational support from the national Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment.
