Tuğba Karademir (born on 17 March 1985) is a Turkish former competitive figure skater. She won silver medals at the 2008 International Challenge Cup and 2008 Ondrej Nepela Memorial. She qualified to the free skate at two Winter Olympics ( 2006 Turin and 2010 Vancouver), two World Championships ( 2006 Calgary, 2009 Los Angeles), and seven European Championships (2004–2010). She served as the flag-bearer for Turkey at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Personal life Karademir was born on 17 March 1985 in Ankara, Turkey. The tuba (; ) is the lowest-pitched musical instrument in the brass family. As with all brass instruments, the sound is produced by lip vibrationa buzzinto a mouthpiece. Tuba (also Tuvi or Toova; c. 1810–1887) was a Hopi leader in the late 19th century. Tuba was the headman of the small Hopi village of Moencopi, roughly fifty miles west of the main villages on the Hopi mesas. However, he apparently was an important person in the village of Oraibi as well. Eventually, Tuba joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and later received his endowment in the St. George Temple. Tuba City, Arizona, was named in his honor. Touba
Touba (Hassaniya Arabic: , 'Felicity'; Wolof: Tuubaa) is a city in central Senegal, part of Diourbel Region and Mbacké district. With a population of 529,176 in 2010, it is the second most populated Senegalese city after Dakar. It is the holy city of Mouridism and the burial place of its founder, Shaikh Ahmadou Bàmba Mbàcke. Next to his tomb stands a large mosque, completed in 1963. Tuba Shahi Mosque
The Tuba-Shahi Mosque ( az, Tuba-Şahi məscidi) is a historical and architectural monument of the 15th century located in the Mardakan village of the Khazar district in Baku (Azerbaijan). The mosque is included in the list of the historical and architectural monuments of local importance approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It was built not far from the Quadrangular Mardakan Castle dating back to the era of the Shirvanshahs. The mosque is named after Tuba Shahi, a woman who commissioned the construction of the edifice. The inscription on the mosque indicates that it was built in 1481-1482. In 1720-1721 at the order of Muhammad Khan, the Baku Khan, restoration works were carried out in the building. Masjid-e-Tooba or Tooba Mosque ( ur, مسجد طوبٰی) also known as Gol Masjid, is located in the city of Karachi, Sindh the province of Pakistan. It is situated in the phase 2 of DHA, Karachi, DHA (Defence Housing Authority), Karachi. The construction of the mosque began in 1966 and completed in 1969. The mosque was designed by Pakistani architect Babar Hamid Chauhan and the engineer was Zaheer Haider Naqvi. This mosque has the capacity to hold up to 5,000 people.
