Tuan Le
Tuan Le (born February 15, 1978 in Paris, France) is a Vietnamese-American professional poker player. Of Vietnamese ancestry, Le was raised in Kansas City, Missouri, in the United States, but by middle school age he was living in Los Angeles, California where he attended John Burroughs Junior High School, on McCadden and 6th Street. He later attended Cal State-Northridge as a finance major. Le began playing in the $20/$40 limit hold'em games at the Hustler Casino in Los Angeles, where he currently resides. As of 2015, Le's total live tournament winnings exceed $5,600,000. World Poker Tour In 2004, Le won his first World Poker Tour (WPT) event, earning over $1,500,000. In 2005, he finished first at the World Poker Tour Season 3 Championship, winning just over $2,800,000. He also won the WPT Battle of Champions III event, defeating Eli Elezra heads-up. The 2014 World Series of Poker is the 45th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP). It was held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Paradise, Nevada, USA, between May 27 – July 14, 2014. The 2015 World Series of Poker is the 46th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP). It was held from May 27 – July 14 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Paradise, Nevada. There were 68 bracelet events, culminating in the $10,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event, which began on July 5. The November Nine concept returned for an eighth year. Instead of a $10 million guaranteed first prize for the Main Event, however, there were now be 1,000 guaranteed payouts. New tournament formats included the $565 Colossus No Limit Hold'em event, the lowest buy-in open event at the WSOP since the 1980 WSOP. The tournament featured four starting flights with a re-entry option for each flight and a $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Daniel Negreanu (; born July 26, 1974) is a Canadian professional poker player who has won six World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and two World Poker Tour (WPT) championship titles. In 2014, independent poker ranking service Global Poker Index recognized Negreanu as the best poker player of the decade. As of 2019, he is the third-biggest live tournament poker winner of all time (behind Justin Bonomo and Bryn Kenney, both of whom have won a special multimillion-dollar charity tournament), having won over $42,000,000 in prize money.
