Tshepo Motlhabankwe
Tshepo Motlhabankwe (born 17 March 1980) is a former Motswana footballer who played for various Botswana Premier League teams such as Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Township Rollers as well as teams in the South African Premier Division. He is also a former Botswana international, having scored 2 goals between his debut in 2003 and retirement in 2013. Career Motlhabankwe is originally from a small village of Digawana just a few kilometers from Lobatse. Despite being one of Botswana's most celebrated footballers, Motlhabankwe did not play youth football and instead played athletics and table tennis at school. In 1997 he switched to amateur football after his father convinced him to join his newly formed team, DACARA FC. After plying his trade in the amateur ranks for several years, Motlhabankwe would make his professional football debut with Division One side Kanye Southern Pirates. Stanley Tshosane
Stanley Tshoshane is a Batswana football manager. He was appointed to the position of Botswana manager in 2008, following a short spell as caretaker manager. He was sacked in October 2013. Critics suggested he was only offered the job because the Botswana Football Association could not afford to hire a better reputed "name". Previously he had been assistant to English manager Colwyn Rowe for the national team. Mascom Top 8 Cup
The Mascom Top 8 Cup is a football cup competition in Botswana. It was created in 2012, and features the top eight finishers from the Botswana Premier League. Since 2013, the winners qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup, as the FA Challenge Cup is not played. This was stopped in 2019 with the return of the FA Cup. Format The Mascom Top 8 Cup is played by the top eight finishers from the previous season of the Premier League. The quarter-finals and semi-finals are played as two-legged ties both home and away, with a once-off final. In the case where the scores are tied after the two-legged ties, the Away goals rule will apply to decide the winner. However, this rule only applies in the first 90 minutes. If the aggregate score and the away goals scored are level after the 90 minutes of the 2nd leg, the teams will proceed to extra time and the Away goals rule will be disregarded thereafter. 2016-17 Botswana Premier League
16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA.
