Tsering Wangchuk
Tsering Wangchuk (1974 in Leh), is a Tibetan politician and physician serving as the Kalon for Health of the Central Tibetan Administration since 2011. Biography Dr. Tsering Wangchuk was born in Leh, Ladakh in 1974. He is an Allopathic medical doctor by profession. He completed School education from Central School for Tibetan at Dalhousie and Mussoorie, India in 1993. He received his law degree from the prestigious Campus Law Centre of the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. He received a fellowship from the Department of Education to study in Warsaw, Poland, where he became Doctor in Medicine, and spent two years of internship at Hospital of Medical University of Warsaw. In 2003 he returned to India and worked as Resident Medical Officer at Phuntsokling Menlha Hospital from 2003 and 2008. Central Tibetan Administration
The Central Tibetan Administration (, , ), often referred to as the Tibetan Government-in-Exile, is a non-profit political organization based in Dharamshala, India. Its organization is modeled after an elective parliamentary government, composed of a judiciary branch, a legislative branch, and an executive branch. The organization was created on 29 May 2011, after the 14th Dalai Lama rejected calls for Tibetan independence; following his decision to not assume any political and administrative authority, the Charter of Tibetans in Exile was updated immediately in May 2011, and all articles related to political duties of the 14th Dalai Lama and regents were repealed. Sikyong
The () is the political leader of the Central Tibetan Administration, a Tibetan exile organisation also known as the Tibetan Government-in-Exile based on the 2011 Charter of Tibetans-in-exile. The title was created in 2012 after the 14th Dalai Lama decided not to assume any political and administrative authority as the head of the Tibetan Administration for Tibetans-in-exile. The current Sikyong is Penpa Tsering. The Sikyong is the political leader of the Kashag, part of the executive branch of the Central Tibetan Administration. Lee Ming-liang (; born 26 June 1936) is a Taiwanese geneticist who led the Department of Health from 2000 to 2002. After Lee left office, Taiwan was hit by the 2003 SARS outbreak, and he was named to a committee convened to research the disease. Chope Paljor Tsering is a former member of the cabinet of the Central Tibetan Administration. He is the longest serving representative of the Dalai Lama, having served as the representative to Nepal, Eastern Europe, Australasia and East Asia over twenty one years from 1986 until 2007.
