Tsaggaris Peledriou
Tsaggaris Peledriou is a Cypriot football club based in Pelendri, Cyprus. Founded in 1957 as Sotirios Pelendriou, changed their name to Apollon Pelendriou after they were expelled from the CFA on the category of match-fixing (with ENAZ Agia Zoni Limassol). They changed their name to Tsaggaris Pelendriou at 1984. The team was playing sometimes in Third and in Fourth Division. Pelendri
Pelendri ( gr, Πελένδρι, tr, Pelendri) is a village in the Limassol District of Cyprus. Location Pelendri is located below the Troodos Mountains, in the region of Pitsilia. It is located on a barren hillside, at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level, 40 kilometers from the city of Limassol. Adjacent to the Trimiklini villages Saittas, Potamitissa and Amiandos. Physical geography Geology The terrain is rugged and mountainous with narrow deep valleys and steep slopes. On three sides of the village loom tall peaks, their height in many cases exceeding 1000 metres. The Cyprus Football Association (CFA; el, Κυπριακή Ομοσπονδία Ποδοσφαίρου (ΚΟΠ), Kypriakí Omospondía Podosfaírou (KOP)) is the governing body of football in Cyprus and is based in Nicosia. It organizes the football championships, whose top league is the Cypriot First Division. It also organizes the Cypriot Cup, the Cypriot Super Cup and the Cypriot national football team. The Cypriot Third Division (Greek: Πρωτάθλημα Γ΄ Κατηγορίας) is the third tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Each year, the top finishing teams of the league are promoted to the Cypriot Second Division, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to the STOK Elite Division. History The Cypriot Third Division was held for the first time in the 1970–71 season as the third level of the Cypriot football. All the teams played against each other twice, once at their home and once away. The team with the most points at the end of the season crowned champions. The Cypriot Fourth Division ( el, Τέταρτη Κατηγορία) was the fourth tier association football, football league competition in Cyprus, ran by the Cyprus Football Association. Each year, the top finishing teams of the league were promoted to the Cypriot Third Division, and the lowest finishing teams were relegated to the amateur leagues. The 1989–90 Cypriot Fourth Division was the fifth season of the Cypriot fourth-level football league. The championship was split into three geographical groups, representing the Districts of Cyprus.
