très.b was an international indie rock band consisting of a Polish singer Misia Furtak, half Danish/half English drummer Thomas Pettit and a half Dutch/half American guitarist Olivier Heim, also known under his solo artist name Anthony Chorale. The band started at a Danish ''Hojskole'', to later move to the Netherlands and Poland. History The band first self-released an EP (Neon Chameleon 2006) and an album called ''Scylla and Charybdis (album), Scylla and Charybdis'' (2007). In June 2010 they signed to Pomaton EMI in Poland and their most recent full-length major-label debut, ''The Other Hand (album), The Other Hand'', came out 21 September. The album was recorded in Warsaw in Studio 333 and produced by Bartłomiej Kuźniak and Olivier Heim. It was mixed in New York City by Victor Van Vugt. It has been well received, and in May 2011 the band was awarded with Fryderyk 2011 as Best Debut of the Year. très.b has given over 150 performances at festivals and venues all over Europe. ... Olivier Heim
Olivier Heim (born 27 June 1986) is a Dutch songwriter and performer also known as a member of Très.b and as Anthony Chorale. Biography Born in the US to Dutch parents and growing up in Luxembourg, Olivier spent his early years playing in various high-school bands. In 2004 he moved to Denmark where he formed the band Très.b along with Thomas Pettit and Misia Furtak. Très.b recorded their first EPs, EP ''Neon Chameleon'' in 2006 and later their debut LP album, LP ''Scylla & Charybdis'' in 2008, recorded by Radek Krzyżanowski (KAMP!). Both records were self-released. ''The other hand (très.b album), The Other Hand'' (2010) was Très.b's first official release under license of EMI, Pomaton EMI in Poland. It was produced in Warsaw by Olivier Heim and Bartłomiej Kuźniak in Studio 333 and mixed in New York by Victor van Vugt (P.J. Harvey, Nick Cave, Depeche Mode). Misia Furtak
Misia Furtak (earlier active as Misia Ff) is a Polish singer, bassist and journalist known as a member of the indie rock group Très.b, active between 2005 and 2014. Biography Furtak was born in Zielona Góra, Poland and is of Lemkos, Lemko origin. As a child, Misia Furtak studied violin, piano, and flute. She moved to Denmark and studied at Testrup Højskole where she met her bandmates Thomas Pettit and Olivier Heim. They first lived in Copenhagen, where they shared a room, and later moved to Maastricht and Amsterdam. Misia studied a Master's Programme Media Culture at Maastricht University. After having lived in the Netherlands and Denmark, Furtak returned to Poland where in June 2010, her and Très.b signed to EMI, Pomaton EMI and their debut called ''The other hand (très.b album), The Other Hand'' was released 21 September 2010. In Greek mythology, Scylla), is obsolete. ( ; grc-gre, Σκύλλα, Skúlla, ) is a legendary monster who lives on one side of a narrow channel of water, opposite her counterpart Charybdis. Mirka ( ar, مِركة) is a Palestinian village in the West Bank, located Southwest of the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the town had a population of 1,555 inhabitants in mid-year 2006.
