Trygve Olsen
Trygve Jens Asbjørn Olsen (11 November 1921 – 17 April 1979) was a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. He was born in Måsøy. Trygve Olsen was the son of Parliament member Johannes Olai Olsen, but was not elected to parliament. Instead, he worked as a fisher from 1939. He was a member of the board in ''Norges Råfisklag'' from 1958 to 1966, and chairman of '' Fiskebåtredernes forbund'' from 1977 to 1979. He was the Minister of Fisheries from 1972–1973 during the cabinet Korvald. He was active in local politics as mayor of Måsøy municipality from 1968 to 1972. During the same period he was also a member of Finnmark Finnmark (; se, Finnmárku ; fkv, Finmarku; fi, Ruija ; russian: Финнмарк) was a county in the northern part of Norway, and it is scheduled to become a county again in 2024. Johannes Olai Olsen
Johannes Olai Olsen (3 October 1895 – 16 January 1974) was a Norwegian fisher and politician for the Norwegian Labour Party, Labour Party. He was born in Måsøy. He was elected to the Stortinget, Norwegian Parliament from Finnmark in 1945, and was re-elected on four occasions. Olsen was mayor of Måsøy municipality between 1928 and 1946, with the exception of a period between 1940 and 1945, during the German occupation of Norway. He was also a long-time member of Finnmark county council. His son Trygve Olsen later became mayor of Måsøy, as well as a cabinet member. Lars Korvald
(29 April 1916 – 4 July 2006) was a Norway, Norwegian educator and school headmaster. He became associated with the Kristelig Folkeparti, Christian Democratic Party and was elected to the Norwegian Parliament. He served as the 27th prime minister of Norway from 1972 to 1973, leading the cabinet that took over when Trygve Bratteli resigned in the wake of the first referendum over Norway's membership in the Norway and the European Union, European Economic Community.
