Trumpchi GA3
The Trumpchi GA3S or previously the Trumpchi GA3 is a subcompact sedan produced by GAC Group under the Trumpchi brand in China and the GAC Motor brand globally. Overview The Trumpchi GA3 is based on the same platform as the later developed Trumpchi GS3 crossover, positioning it under the Trumpchi GA5 sedan. Originally introduced as the Trumpchi GA3 sedan, it debuted on the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show and was launch on the Chinese car market soon after in July 2013 with prices ranging from 80,000 to 120,000 yuan. The design of the Trumpchi GA3 is inspired by the Guangzhou Auto E-Jet concept car that debuted on the Guangzhou Auto Show in December 2012. Engine options of the GA3 includes a 1.4 liter turbo engine and a 1.6 liter engine. GAC Group
Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (GAC Group) is a Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer headquartered in Guangzhou, Guangdong. Founded in 1954, it is currently the fifth largest automobile manufacturer in China, with 2.144 million sales in 2021. Trumpchi
Trumpchi () is an automotive marque owned by the Chinese automaker GAC Group. It was launched in December 2010. History GAC began the construction of facilities to produce vehicles for a new own-brand automotive marque in 2008. The first Trumpchi model to go into production, the Trumpchi GA5 sedan, a four-door mid-size saloon car model based on the platform of the Alfa Romeo 166, went into mass production in September 2010. The first 500 Trumpchi sedans produced were delivered to the organizing committee of the 2010 Asian Games in October 2010. The Trumpchi Sedan was formally unveiled to the public at Auto Guangzhou in December 2010, and public sales of the vehicles began in the same month. Subcompact car is a North American classification for cars smaller than a compact car. Trumpchi GA5
The Trumpchi GA5, or originally the Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi is a compact sedan produced by Guangzhou Automobile under the Trumpchi brand. It debuted at the 2010 Guangzhou Auto Show. Overview In 2009, Alfa Romeo had sold its 166/Kappa platform and tooling to Guangzhou Automobile (GAC), which formed the basis of the Trumpchi GA5 and Trumpchi GS5 crossover, using a FIAT/Alfa Romeo 2.0 engine and a manual, automatic or tiptronic transmission. Pricing ranges from 122,800 yuan to 189,800 yuan. The Trumpchi was launched as a brand and the brand expanded later with the Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi being renamed to Trumpchi GA5 by the end of 2012 along with the facelift.
