Trossingen station (formerly ''Trossingen Staatsbahnhof''—"state station") is a station that serves Trossingen, but is located in the municipality of Deißlingen in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Its name in German, ''Trossingen Bahnhof'', rather than ''Bahnhof Trossingen'', indicates that it serves Trossingen, but it is not in it. The Trossingen Railway (''Trossinger Eisenbahn'', Trossingen station–Trossingen Stadt railway) branches off the Rottweil–Villingen railway off here and connects the city to the railway network. The station is at 644 metres above sea level between Dauchingen, Deißlingen, Trossingen and Villingen-Schwenningen near the intersection of autobahn 81 and federal highway 27. Deißlingen is a municipality of the Rottweil (district), district of Rottweil of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. History In 1802-03, Deißlingen, a possession of the Free Imperial City of Rottweil, and Lauffen ob Rottweil, a property of Rottenmünster Abbey, were German mediatization, mediatized to the Electorate of Württemberg, Electorate, later Kingdom of Württemberg, Kingdom, of Württemberg. Rottweil (; Alemannic: ''Rautweil'') is a town in southwest Germany in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Rottweil was a free imperial city for nearly 600 years. Donaueschingen station is a junction station in the south of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is the only official ''Bahnhof'' (station) in the city of Donaueschingen. Neustadt (Schwarzw) station is one of two stations in Titisee-Neustadt in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The other is Titisee. Tuff is a type of rock made of volcanic ash ejected from a vent during a volcanic eruption. Following ejection and deposition, the ash is lithified into a solid rock. The Ringzug ("ring train"), also called the 3er-Ringzug ("ring train of the 3") is a passenger transport network in the districts of Tuttlingen, Rottweil and Schwarzwald-Baar in southern Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
