Trish Stewart
Trish Stewart (born June 14, 1946) is an American television actress. She was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She is most recognized for her regular role as Chris Brooks Foster on the CBS soap ''The Young and the Restless''. She was part of the premiere cast of the show and played the role for several years, reprising it for the last time in 1984. She guest-starred in numerous television shows in the 1970s including ''Fantasy Island'', ''The Love Boat'', '' Trapper John M.D.'', ''Barnaby Jones'', ''The Streets of San Francisco'', ''Sword of Justice'', ''Project U.F.O.'', ''The Rookies'', ''CHiPs'' and ''Most Wanted''. She was one of the three stars of the 1979 TV series ''Salvage 1''. She appeared as herself on the ''Circus of the Stars'' and several times as a panelist on ''Match Game'' and Whew!. Hot Springs is a resort city in the state of Arkansas and the county seat of Garland County. The city is located in the Ouachita Mountains among the U.S. Interior Highlands, and is set among several natural hot springs for which the city is named. As of the 2020 United States Census, the city had a population of 37,930. The center of Hot Springs is the oldest federal reserve in the United States, today preserved as Hot Springs National Park. The hot spring water has been popularly believed for centuries to possess healing properties, and was a subject of legend among several Native American tribes. Following federal protection in 1832, the city developed into a successful spa town. ''Salvage 1'' is an American science fiction series that was broadcast for 16 episodes (of the 20 produced) on ABC during 1979. The pilot film, ''Salvage'', was shown on January 20, 1979, to high ratings. Plot The pilot centers on Harry Broderick (Andy Griffith) who owns the Jettison Scrap and Salvage Co. and is a specialist in reclaiming trash and junk to sell as scrap. His dream is to recover equipment left on the Moon during Apollo Program missions. Richard Basehart
John Richard Basehart (August 31, 1914 – September 17, 1984) was an American actor. He starred as Admiral Harriman Nelson in the television science-fiction drama ''Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea'' (1964–68). He also portrayed Wilton Knight in the pilot episode of the TV series ''Knight Rider'' (1982), and provided the narration that was heard during the opening credits throughout the entire series. Basehart was equally active in cinema, receiving National Board of Review Awards for his performances in ''Fourteen Hours'' (1951) and ''Moby Dick'' (1956).
