Triin Aljand
Triin Aljand (born 8 July 1985) is a retired Estonian swimmer who won a silver medal at the 2012 European Aquatics Championships in 50 m butterfly. She competed in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics in the 50 m and 100 m freestyle and 100 butterfly, but never reached the finals. She also participated in multiple FINA World Aquatics Championships. She attended Texas A&M University, where she swam for the women's varsity team. On 21 November 2008 she broke the National Collegiate Athletic Association record for the 50-yard freestyle with her time of 21.61, though the record was disqualified after it was found the pool was just over one inch short. Texas A&M Aggies
Texas A&M Aggies refers to the students, graduates, and sports teams of Texas A&M University. The nickname "Aggie" was once common at land-grant or "ag" (agriculture) schools in many states. The teams are also referred to as "A&M" or "Texas Aggies," and the official school colors are maroon and white. The mascot is a rough collie named Reveille. Julia Beljajeva (born 21 July 1992) is an Estonian right-handed épée fencer. Beljajeva is a two-time team European champion, 2017 team world champion, and 2013 individual world champion. A two-time Olympian, Beljajeva is a 2021 team Olympic champion. Beljajeva competed in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games and the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Kristina Šmigun-Vähi
Kristina Šmigun-Vähi (born 23 February 1977) is a former Estonian female cross-country skier and politician. She is the most successful Estonian female cross-country skier with two Olympic gold medals. In 2019 she was elected as a Member of the Estonian Parliament. Career On 12 February 2006, she won the Winter Olympics gold medal for the 7.5 km + 7.5 km double pursuit, becoming the first Estonian woman to win a medal at the Winter Olympics. The Estonian Athlete of the Year ( et, Eesti Aasta Sportlane) is an annual award presented by the Estonian Olympic Committee (''Eesti Olümpiakomitee'', EOK) to one male and one female sportsperson judged to have delivered the best performance over the course of the year.
