Trigger (horse)
Trigger (July 4, 1934 – July 3, 1965) was a palomino horse made famous in American Western films with his owner and rider, cowboy star Roy Rogers. Pedigree The original Trigger, named Golden Cloud, was born in San Diego, California. Though often mistaken for a Tennessee Walking Horse, his sire was a Thoroughbred and his dam a grade (unregistered) mare that, like Trigger, was a palomino. Movie director William Witney, who directed Roy and Trigger in many of their movies, claimed a slightly different lineage, that his sire was a "registered" palomino stallion (though no known palomino registry existed at the time of Trigger's birth) and his dam was by a Thoroughbred and out of a " cold-blood" mare. Soulside
Soulside, also spelled Soul Side, was an American post-hardcore band from the greater Washington, D.C. area. The original name of the band was Lunchmeat which was formed by high school students Bobby Sullivan, Chris Thomson, Scott McCloud and Alexis Fleisig in 1985. Lunchmeat played their last show under that name on August 29 of the same year as the group went on hiatus while the members went to college. The next summer the band reunited under the name Soulside recording an album at Inner Ear with Ian MacKaye, Don Zientara, and Eli Janney. The album was the second release on Sammich Records. At the end of the summer, the band again went on hiatus as the members returned to college except for Thomson who had decided not return to college and formed Ignition with Chris Bald. Jacob Quistgaard (known as Quist) is a Danish guitarist and producer based in Los Angeles. Quist is best known as the lead guitarist with British singer and Roxy music frontman Bryan Ferry. He has been touring with Ferry since early 2014 and featured on his 2014 album Avonmore, with Nile Rodgers, Mark Knopfler, Johnny Marr, Flea and Marcus Miller. The Trigger is a Serbian hard rock/ heavy metal band from Belgrade. History The band was formed in 2005 by guitarist and songwriter Dušan Svilokos Đurić, female vocalist Milena Branković, and bass guitarist Petar "Pera" Popović. Keyboardist Marko Antonić, and drummer Zoran Jović "Đavo" were soon added to their ranks and the five-piece band started working on songs for their debut album, entering the studio in 2006. The band was performing and releasing albums for their domestic market under the name "Trigger", until they added "The" to their name in 2019, for legal reasons, as their first album in English for the international market was about to be released.
