The Trefl Playing Card Company (Polish: ''Fabryka Kart Trefl-Kraków'') is a Polish manufacturer of playing cards, board games and commissioned games, operating since 1947. History The company was founded in 1926 as the ''Krakowska Fabryka Kart'' (Cracow Playing Card Factory). It closed during the war, but re-emerged in 1947 as the state-run ''Krakowskie Zakłady Wyrobów Papierowych'' (Cracow Factory for Paper Articles) or KZWP. It was privatised in 1997 and renamed the ''Krakowskie Zaklady Wyrobów Papierowych Trefl - Kraków Sp. z.o.o'' (Trefl Factory for Paper Articles, Cracow). In 2014, it was rebranded as the ''Fabryka Kart Trefl-Krakow'' (Trefl Card Factory, Cracow). Initially, the headquarters and factory were located in Krakow. The Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków ( pl, Akademia Sztuk Pięknych im. Franciszek Bunsch (born 9 August 1926) is a Polish painter and graphic artist, representative of the Krakow school of workshop graphics, specializing in the metaphorical vision of reality. A longtime lecturer and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Son of painter, Adam Bunsch and younger brother of the set designer Ali Bunsch. Andrzej Mleczko (born 5 January 1949) is a Polish illustrator, mostly known for his satirical activities. He is also connected with painting, book illustrations, adverts, scenography and posters. He has worked with Polish and foreign magazines, in which he has published more than 15,000 of his drawings. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Cracow University of Technology. In 1982 in Kraków he opened his own art gallery. He also opened his own gallery in 2002 in Warsaw.
