San Francesco, Trecate
Santa Francesco is a Roman Catholic church in the town limits of Trecate, province of Novara, Piedmont, Italy. History Franciscans arrived to this town in 1494, and occupied a convent formerly of nuns of the Umiliati order. That convent had been established in the 13th-century. In 1514, the convent was assigned to the Franciscans. The church was rebuilt in the 17th century in its present layout. A 1985 restoration of the church uncovered frescoes (1595) attributed to il Cerano, depicting the ''Conversion of St Paul''. It is documented that the frescoes were commissioned by the Cicogna family from Trecate. Santa Maria Assunta is the Roman Catholic parish church of Trecate, province of Novara, Piedmont, Italy. History The church was founded in the 14th century, but remodeled over the centuries. The interior has a 14th-century fresco depicting St Catherine of Alexandria. The simple lines of the Neoclassical façade with an arched portico (1826) were designed by the architect Melchioni. Cinque Vette Park
The Cinque Vette Park is a natural park, established by the Region of Lombardy on 19 June 2017. The park is located in the north-eastern part of the Province of Varese, in the Italian region of Lombardy. It takes the name from the main geographic features located in the park, the five mountain peaks. The project was launched with the aim of the three local councils of (Cuasso al Monte, Marzio, and Valganna) to preserve a green area and make it available for touristic-sportive-cultural initiatives above 500 meters of altitude.
