Interstate 635 (I-635) is a partial loop around Dallas, Texas, in the United States between I-20 in Balch Springs and State Highway 121 (SH 121) at the north entrance of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW Airport) in Grapevine. It intersects I-35E at exits 27B and 27C, but does not connect with I-35W. A small part of I-635 and I-20 is collectively designated as the Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway; known locally as the LBJ Freeway, or simply LBJ. The roadway is named after Lyndon B. Johnson, the former US Senator from Texas, 37th Vice President, and the 36th President of the United States. Where I-635 ends at I-20, I-20 continues the LBJ Freeway designation heading west. Interstate 345 (I-345) is a Auxiliary Interstate Highway in the city of Dallas within the US state of Texas. It is a freeway that connects I-45 (which ends at the interchange with I-30) with U.S. Highway 75 (US 75; North Central Expressway) at State Highway Spur 366 (Spur 366; Woodall Rodgers Freeway). Few maps actually display the road as I-345; signposts on the road show US 75 northbound, while southbound the highway is signed as I-45. In recent years, a debate over whether to maintain or decommission I-345 has received increased attention from several Dallas media outlets. Texas State Highway Spur 366
Spur 366, also named Woodall Rodgers Freeway, is a highway that connects Beckley Avenue and Singleton Boulevard in West Dallas to Interstate 35E and U.S. Highway 75 (North Central Expressway) in central Dallas, Texas. The highway, as part of the downtown freeway loop, also serves as a dividing line between downtown Dallas on the south and the Uptown and Victory Park neighborhoods on the north. In 2012 the Santiago Calatrava designed Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge was opened, extending Woodall Rodgers west of Interstate 35E across the Trinity River, into West Dallas. The Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge is first of three planned bridges of the Trinity River Project. Interstate 45 (I-45) is a major Interstate Highway located entirely within the US state of Texas. While most Interstate routes which have numbers ending in "5" are cross-country north–south routes, I-45 is comparatively short, with the entire route located in Texas. Additionally, it has the shortest length of all the interstates that end in a "5." It connects the cities of Dallas and Houston, continuing southeast from Houston to Galveston over the Galveston Causeway to the Gulf of Mexico. Interstate 35E (I-35E), an Interstate Highway, is the eastern half of I-35, where it splits to serve the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. It travels through Dallas before rejoining with I-35W to reform I-35 in Denton. Interstate 20 in Texas (I-20) is a major east–west Interstate Highway in the Southern United States, running east from a junction with I-10 east of Kent, Texas, through the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex to the border with Louisiana near Waskom, Texas. The original distance of I-20 was from I-10 to the Louisiana border, reduced to the current distance of with the rerouting of I-20 in the 1980s and 1990s.
