Trakia Economic Zone
Trakia Economic Zone (TEZ) in Plovdiv is an industrial and commercial area and one of the biggest economic projects in Bulgaria. It includes six major industrial zones in the region of Plovdiv with a total area of of which is occupied. More than 180 Bulgarian and multinational companies operate in TEZ which employ over 30,000 people. Kaloyanovo, Plovdiv Province
Kaloyanovo ( bg, Калояново) is a village in southern Bulgaria, and the administrative center of the Kaloyanovo Municipality in the Plovdiv Province. As of 2009 it has 2,672 inhabitants. The village is situated in an agricultural region and is close to the spa resort Hisarya. The population is entirely ethnic Bulgarian. However, the locals follow the two major mainstreams of Christianity: there are 1,600 Bulgarian Orthodox and 1,100 Roman Catholic Christians. Kaloyanovo has both a Bulgarian Orthodox, built in 1845, and a Gothic Revival Roman Catholic church. Kuklen
Kuklen ( bg, Куклен ) is a town in southern Bulgaria, part of Plovdiv Province. It is located 7 km to the south of the nearest major city, Plovdiv, and is approximately 140 km south east of the Bulgarian capital, Sofia. Kuklen was proclaimed a town on 23 May 2006 and had a population of 6,877. It is the center of Kuklen Municipality. Rakovski ( bg, Раковски ) is a town in southern Bulgaria, in the historical region of Thrace. It is located in the Plovdiv Province. The town is also the centre of the Rakovski Municipality. Rakovski was founded in 1966 with the merging of three villages — General Nikolaevo, Sekirovo and Parchevich. The new town was named after the prominent Bulgarian revolutionary Georgi Sava Rakovski.
