Tracy Yardley
Tracy Yardley (born July 19, 1979, in Southern Illinois) is an American comic book artist best known for his work with the '' Sonic the Hedgehog'' comics, originally published by Archie Comics. Career Sonic the Hedgehog comics Yardley has been greatly interested in comics for most of his life, as well as the '' Sonic the Hedgehog'' video game series. He grew up reading the earliest issues of Archie Comics' officially licensed ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' comic book series. He professionally spells his name with an " !" at the end as a tribute to Scott Shaw, who also spelled his name the same way. Scott Shaw was one of the first artists whom worked on Archie Comics' ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' series. Yardley worked mainly as a penciller on Archie Comics' ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' series from 2005 until Sega of America's termination of Archie Comics' license in 2017. Sonic X (comics)
is a Japanese anime television series based on Sega's ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' video game series. Produced by TMS Entertainment under partnership with Sega and Sonic Team, and directed by Hajime Kamegaki, ''Sonic X'' initially ran for 52 episodes, broadcasting on TV Tokyo from April 2003 to March 2004. A further 26 episodes aired in North America, Europe, and the Middle East from 2005 to 2006. Cosmo The Merry Martian
''Cosmo the Merry Martian'' was a comic book published by Archie Comics in the late 1950s. The comic was created by Bob White as a way to provide a family-appropriate comic for children with an interest in the then-current space race. The title character was the first Martian to visit the Earth. The title only lasted for six issues. Every issue, including the last one, had a cliffhanger ending. Besides the title character, other characters are Orbi (Cosmo's astronaut companion), Professor Thimk (the scientist who invented the Martian spaceship, but was not on it when it took off from Mars), and Astra (Cosmo's girlfriend). In the first issue, while they are traveling toward their intended destination of Earth, a meteor damages their spaceship, and they crash land on Earth's moon. The moon turns out to be inhabited by beings named Oogs, who live underground. A reboot of the series, titled ''Cosmo the Mighty Martian'', began publication in January 2018. Ian Flynn (born May 31, 1982), also known by his Internet pen name Ian Potto, is an American comic book writer. He was chief writer for Archie Comics's ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' since issue #160, after the departure of the previous chief writer Ken Penders, till Archie's cancelation on the run at issue #290. As of April 4, 2018, he is the lead writer of IDW Publishing's ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' comic series and ''Sonic Frontiers''.
