Jocelyn Denise Moorhouse (born 4 September 1960) is an Australian screenwriter and film director. She has directed films such as ''Proof (1991 film), Proof'', ''How to Make an American Quilt'', ''A Thousand Acres (film), A Thousand Acres'' and ''The Dressmaker (2015 film), The Dressmaker''. ''The Dressmaker'' is a 2015 Australian comedy-drama film co-written and directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse, based on the 2000 novel of the same name by Rosalie Ham.
