The Tower of Terror II was a steel roller coaster, steel shuttle roller coaster, shuttle roller coaster located at the Dreamworld (Australia), Dreamworld amusement park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. When the Tower of Terror opened on 23 January 1997, it was the first roller coaster in the world to reach , making it the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world of its time. The ride was situated on the Dreamworld Tower, which also houses The Giant Drop free fall ride. The ride was originally known as the Tower of Terror until it was modified and relaunched in September 2010 as Tower of Terror II. The steel and concrete structure cost A$16 million to construct. ABC Kids World (formerly known as Wiggles World) was a themed land at the Dreamworld amusement park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The area was dedicated to the shows and characters from various shows that air on ABC Kids. The area was originally opened as Wiggles World on September 17, 2005 replacing the previous Gum Tree Gully section. History During July 2005, Gum Tree Gully was closed to aid in the construction of Dreamworld's second children's area, Wiggles World. Only a narrow corridor remained for pedestrian access during the construction period. On September 17, 2005 Wiggles World officially opened to the public with a performance by The Wiggles. Tiger Island (Dreamworld)
Tiger Island is a wildlife attraction at the Dreamworld amusement park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. In April 2019, the area was home to eight adult tigers and three cubs. This exhibit is home to both the Bengal and Sumatran tiger species. The exhibit also has events with the trainers and tigers. Normally, trainers get the tigers to do jumps and other simple tricks to entertain the audience. History Tiger Island opened in 1995 as one of only two interactive tiger exhibits in the world. The exhibit featured various locations for the tigers to live, swim and play. Just three years later, in October 1998, Dreamworld welcomed their first litter of four Bengal tiger cubs consisting of Rama, Sita, Sultan and Taj.
