Tove Kari Viken
Tove Kari Viken (11 August 1942 – 2 December 2016) was a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. Born Tove Kari Hanssen in Oppdal, she was raised on the train station at Kongsvoll, where her father was station master. She married Finn Viken from Oppdal and has two adult children. She was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Sør-Trøndelag in 1989, and was re-elected on one occasion. She served in the position of deputy representative during the terms 1981–1985, 1985–1989 and 1997–2001. Oppdal
is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the Dovre region and the traditional district of Orkdalen. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Oppdal. Other villages in the municipality include Lønset, Vognillan, Fagerhaug, and Holan. The Oppdal Airport, Fagerhaug is located in the northeastern part of the municipality. The municipality is the 24th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Oppdal is the 139th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 7,066. Kongsvoll Station
Kongsvoll Station ( no, Kongsvoll stasjon) is a railway station located at Kongsvoll in the municipality of Oppdal in Trøndelag county, Norway. It's located in the Drivdalen valley, along the Driva river and the European route E06 highway. The station is located along the Dovre Line and is served by four daily express trains to Oslo and Trondheim. The unmanned station is located in the mountains, outside of civilization, with no permanent population close by. The station is used to access the mountain hiking and skiing areas around, as well as the Kongsvoll hotel. History The station was designed by Erik Glosimodt and opened in 1921 as part of the Dovre Line when it was extended from Dombås to Trondheim. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Sør-Trøndelag () was a county comprising the southern portion of the present-day Trøndelag county in Norway. It bordered the old Nord-Trøndelag county as well as the counties of Møre og Romsdal, Oppland, and Hedmark. To the west is the Norwegian Sea (Atlantic Ocean), and to the east is Jämtland in Sweden.
