Tovar, usually preceded by the particle ''de'' (meaning ''from''), is a surname that was adopted in the Middle-Ages by a Castilian noble house that received the lordship of the village of Tovar from Fernando III. ''The Strangerhood'' is a comedy series created by Rooster Teeth Productions. The series is produced primarily by using the machinima technique of synchronizing video footage from video game to pre-recorded dialogue and other audio. Tobar (originally ''Tovar'') is a Municipalities of Spain, municipality and town located in the Burgos (province), province of Burgos, Spain, within the Castile and León region. It is 35 km northwest of Burgos. General details Tobar is located in a valley, surrounded of small hills, the Hormazuela river crosses the village from north to south. The economy is based on agricultural farmers, mainly cultivating cereals, wheat and barley. The soil has much lime, but is fertile, providing good harvests most years. Colonia Tovar ( en, Tovar Colony) is a town of Venezuela, capital of the municipality Tovar in Aragua state. It is located about west of Caracas. It was founded on April 8, 1843, by a group of 390 immigrants from the then independent state of the Grand Duchy of Baden (later incorporated into Germany). The El Tovar Hotel, also known simply as El Tovar, is a former Harvey House hotel situated directly on the south rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona, United States. The hotel was designed by Charles Whittlesey, Chief Architect for the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway and was opened in 1905 as one of a chain of hotels and restaurants owned and operated by the Fred Harvey Company in conjunction with the Santa Fe railway whose Grand Canyon Depot was 100 metres (330 ft) away. It is at the northern terminus of the Grand Canyon Railway, which was formerly a branch of the Santa Fe.
