Dr Joseph Toscano (born 1951) is a medical practitioner, a broadcaster and an anarchist who lives in Melbourne, Australia. He has become widely known as an anarchist spokesperson for the ''Anarchist Media Institute'' through his broadcasting on community radio, his frequent letters to newspapers such as ''The Age'' and ''Herald Sun'' and his initiation of community campaigns. He was married to the artist Ellen José until her death in 2017. He was educated in Brisbane at the University of Queensland where he acquired his Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery, then his doctoral degree from University of Melbourne. Oliviero Toscani (born 28 February 1942) is an Italian photographer, best-known worldwide for designing controversial advertising campaigns for Italian brand Benetton, from 1982 to 2000. Toscani was born in Milan, and took up photography following in the footsteps of his father, Fedele Toscani, a photoreporter for the newspaper ''Corriere della Sera''. After obtaining his diploma at the Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich, he started working with different magazines, including ''Elle'', ''Vogue'', ''L'Uomo Vogue'' and ''Harper's Bazaar''. Odoardo Toscani (19 December 1859 – 13 June 1914) was an Italian painter, mainly of portraits and battle scenes, genre scenes and Orientalist themes.
