Tuz (Akkuly District)
Tuz ( kk, Тұз; russian: Туз) is a salt lake in Akkuly District, Pavlodar Region, Kazakhstan. The lake is located about west of the Russia-Kazakhstan border. Akkuly, the district capital, lies to the WNW. The border of Abai Region stretches close to the southern lakeshore. Geography Tuz is an endorheic lake part of the Irtysh basin. It lies in a tectonic depression at the southern end of the Kulunda Plain. Lake Shoshkaly (Abai Region), Shoshkaly stretches to the southeast, Sharbakty (lake), Sharbakty to the WNW, Malybay (lake), Malybay to the NNW, Sormoildy to the ENE, and lake Tengizsor to the south. River Irtysh flows to the west. The lake has a slightly elongated shape oriented in a roughly southeast–northwest direction. It doesn't dry out in the summer and doesn't freeze in the winter. Shoshkaly (Abai Region)
Shoshkaly ( kk, Шошқалы; russian: Шошкалы) is a salt lake in Beskaragay District, Abai Region, Kazakhstan. The lake is located about west of the Russia-Kazakhstan border. Tosagash village lies to the north, Begen to the ESE and Beskaragay, the district capital, to the southeast. The border of Pavlodar Region stretches close to the northern lakeshore. Geography Shoshkaly is an endorheic lake part of the Irtysh basin. It lies in a tectonic depression at the southern end of the Kulunda Plain. Pavlodar Region ( kk, Павлодар облысы, translit=Pavlodar oblysy; russian: Павлодарская область, translit=Pavlodarskaya oblast) is a region of Kazakhstan. Akkuly ( kk, Аққулы ауданы, Aqquly audany, اققۋلى اۋدانى), until 2018 Lebyazhye ( kk, Лебяжі ауданы, ) is a district of Pavlodar Region in northern Kazakhstan.
