Torres De Santa Cruz
The Torres de Santa Cruz is a residential complex composed of the twin towers located in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife ( Canary Islands, Spain). They were designed by Canarian architect Julian Valladares, and were built in the period 2004–2006. The towers are tall, without the antenna, becoming the tallest skyscraper in the Canary Islands, and the tallest residential building in Spain until 2010 (currently occupies third place in the latter category). The Torres de Santa Cruz are also the tallest twin towers in Spain. The towers are considered, together with the nearby Auditorio de Tenerife, one of the best symbols of the economic development of the Canary Islands. The Gate of Europe towers ( es, Puerta de Europa, - Door of Europe-), also known as KIO Towers (''Torres KIO''), are twin office buildings near the Plaza de Castilla in Madrid, Spain. The towers have a height of and have 26 floors. They were constructed from 1989 to 1996. Tropical Storm Delta was a late-forming tropical storm during the hyperactive 2005 Atlantic hurricane season which struck the Canary Islands as a strong extratropical storm where it caused significant damage. It then crossed over Morocco before dissipating. It was the 26th tropical or subtropical storm to form in the 2005 season. Tropical Storm Delta, like many late-season storms, developed out of an extratropical low.
