Pablo Torello (born 12 February 1959) is an Argentine politician, currently serving as National Deputy elected in Buenos Aires Province. A member of Republican Proposal, Torello was first elected in 2015. He previously served as a member of the City Council of Bragado from 2013 to 2015. Early life and career Torello was born on 12 February 1959 in Buenos Aires. He is a grand-nephew of Pablo Miguel Torello (1864–1943), who was Minister of Public Works during the presidency of Hipólito Yrigoyen. His brother, José Torello, is also a Republican Proposal politician and currently serves as a Senator for Buenos Aires. Torello is married to María Patricia Medina. Juan Antonio Samaranch y Torelló, 1st Marquess of Samaranch (Catalan: ''Joan Antoni Samaranch i Torelló'', ; 17 July 1920 – 21 April 2010) was a Spanish sports administrator under the Franco regime (1973–1977) who served as the seventh President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from 1980 to 2001. Life Juan Antonio Samaranch was born on 17 July 1920 in Barcelona as the third of six children in a wealthy Catalan family. In 1938, during the Spanish Civil War, he was conscripted to serve as a medical assistant in the Spanish Republican Armed Forces. A member of Republican Proposal (PRO), Torello has served as National Senator representing Buenos Aires Province since 2022, in replacement of Esteban Bullrich. Early life Torello was born in Buenos Aires on 19 February 1960 into a wealthy family linked to the agricultural business. James Torello
James Vincent "Turk" Torello (December 15, 1930 – April 13, 1979 Woodridge, Illinois) was an Italian-American mobster who became a caporegime and leading enforcer for the Chicago Outfit during the mid-to-late 1970s. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Torello's first arrest was in 1945; his rap sheet would eventually include convictions for auto theft, armed robbery, burglary and hijacking. Torello would serve two years in federal prison for violating firearms laws. Torello would serve as capo of the South Side/26th Street crew. Union boss and mob associate John Serpico would later testify after turning informant that he and Torello were born on the same street and lived half a block away from one another. Flavio Baracchini
Flavio Torello Baracchini () was an Italian World War I fighter ace credited with 21 confirmed and nine unconfirmed aerial victories. His confirmed victory total ranked him fourth among Italian aces of the war. After the war he worked as an inventor, working in the areas of aviation communications and explosives. He died in 1928 as a result of injuries that he received during an accident in his laboratory. Military career Flavio Baracchini was born at Villafranca in Lunigiana on 28 July 1895. He was educated at technical schools in La Spezia. As World War I heated up, he was assigned to the Italian Army's 3rd Engineer Battalion. Anton Torello (Catalan: Antoni Torelló i Ros, 30 June 1884, Sant Sadurní d'Anoia – 1960, Los Angeles) was a Catalan double bass player. He was Principal Bass of the Philadelphia Orchestra from 1914 until 1948, and was the first bass professor at Philadelphia's Curtis Institute of Music.
