Toppila is a district of Oulu, Finland. It is bounded by the Toppilansalmi strait in the south and west, railway in the east and the Taskila district in the north. Toppilansaari
Toppilansaari is a neighbourhood in the Tuira area in the city of Oulu, Finland. It is located on the south side of the Toppilansalmi strait. Toppilansaari was separated from the Hietasaari district while it was rezoned to residential development in the early 2000s. The westernmost part of the neighbourhood was the location for the Finnish Housing Fair in 2005. The Möljä Bridge over the Toppilansalmi strait connects Toppilansaari with the Toppila neighbourhood. Toppila Power Station
The Toppila Power Station is a power station in the Toppila district in Oulu, Finland. it is one of the largest peat-fired power stations in the world, with an installed capacity of of electric power and 340 MW of thermal power. The facility operates two units of and . The boiler was supplied by Tampella and Ahlstrom, and the turbines were supplied by Zamech, LMZ and Ganz. The power station is operated by Oulun Energia. The Möljä Bridge ( fi, Möljän silta) is a concrete beam bridge over the Toppilansalmi strait in Oulu Oulu ( , ; sv, Uleåborg ) is a city, municipality and a seaside resort of about 210,000 inhabitants in the region of North Ostrobothnia, Finland. Rail Transport In Finland
The Finnish railway network consists of a total track length of of railways built with broad commonly known as Russian gauge track, of which of track is electrified.
