''Top of the Pops 2'' (also known as ''TOTP2'') is a British television music show broadcast on BBC Two showing archive footage from the long-running ''Top of the Pops'' show, some dating back to the 1960s when the programme first aired on British television, as well as other surviving BBC programmes. Format From its debut in 1994, the show was narrated by Johnnie Walker. Steve Wright took over presenter duties in 1997, and hosted the show until being replaced by Mark Radcliffe in December 2009. To date, the presenter has never appeared in-vision, but provides voice-over commentary that introduces each performance. Originally, the show format consisted of archival footage apart from the last performance, which was usually a more recent performance or an exclusive performance recorded in the main ''Top of the Pops'' studio for ''TOTP2''. Johnnie Walker (DJ)
Johnnie Walker, MBE (born Peter Waters Dingley; 30 March 1945) is an English radio disc jockey and broadcaster. He began his career on pirate radio, most notably on Radio Caroline. He joined BBC Radio 1 in 1969. He joined BBC Radio 2 in 1998 and currently presents '' Sounds of the 70s'' on Sunday afternoons and ''The Radio 2 Rock Show'' on Friday nights. Razorlight
Razorlight are an English indie rock band, formed in 2002 in London by lead singer and guitarist Johnny Borrell. Along with Borrell, the current line-up of the band is composed of founding members Björn Ågren on guitar and bassist Carl Delemo, as well as drummer Andy Burrows. Yesterday is a British free-to-air history-oriented television channel broadcasting in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It launched on 30 October 2002 as UK History and relaunched in its current format on 2 March 2009. It is available on satellite through Sky, Freesat and through the digital terrestrial provider Freeview. Hours on Freeview had previously been cut, with transmissions finishing at 6 pm, but were restored on 1 June 2010.
