Toni Prostran
Toni Prostran (born April 9, 1991) is a Croatian professional basketball player, currently playing for Iserlohn Kangaroos in the third-tier German Pro-B League. Standing at 1.83 m, he plays at the point guard position. Professional career After passing through the KK Zadar youth squads, Prostran made his debut for the senior team in December 2007. Not satisfied with the opportunities he got at Zadar, he moved to KK Zagreb, in January 2010. Expecting to move his career to another level, Prostran was disappointed at his new club, and he choose to break up his contract, and move back to KK Zadar, in the summer of 2012. After a more successful 2012–13 season (3.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in the Adriatic league), in the summer of 2013, he renewed his contract with KK Zadar. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. Swedish Basketball League
Svenska Basketligan, or the Swedish Basketball League (SBL), is the premier league for professional basketball in Sweden. The league was originally established in 1992 as Basketligan and was known as that prior to the season of 2006–07, but when the Swedish company Obol Investment signed an agreement with the Swedish Basketball Federation in early October 2006, the league was renamed Obol Basketball League (OBL). 2008 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship
The 2008 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship was an international basketball competition held in Greece from July 25, 2008 until August 3. The hosts, Greeks, emerged as the champions after beating the Lithuanians in the final, 57–50 to clinch their first European Under-18 championship. The FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup (formerly FIBA Under-19 World Championship) is the under-19 men's world basketball championship organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).
