Tomás Hernández Burillo (19 February 1930 – 2 January 1982), commonly known as Moreno, was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward. Club career Born in Zaragoza, Aragon, Moreno spent four years of his career with La Liga giants FC Barcelona, after signing from local UD Huesca in early 1952. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. An early illustration of the first international football match between Scotland and England in 1872 shows the Scottish players wearing cowls, and the English wearing a variety of school caps. Mariano Martín
Mariano Martín Alonso (20 October 1919 – 9 September 1998) was a Spanish footballer who played as a striker. Club career Martín was born in Dueñas, Palencia. After his beginnings with Peña Font, already in Barcelona, he joined FC Barcelona in 1939, proceeding to become one of the club's most prolific scorers; during his nine seasons at Barcelona, he netted 128 times in only 150 matches, including 30 in 23 contests in his fourth season, although ''Barça'' finished in third place. In early 1944, whilst appearing in a friendly match for Catalonia, Martín suffered a severe knee ligament injury, from which he never fully recovered. However, as he played in only 29 La Liga games in his last three seasons combined, he still managed to score on 14 occasions. Martín closed out his career in 1952, after one year apiece with Gimnàstic de Tarragona and Real Zaragoza and as many with his second club, UE Sant Andreu. Eduardo Manchón
Eduardo Manchón Molina (born 24 July 1930 in Barcelona, died there on 29 September 2010) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward. Although naturally left-footed, he was also adept with his right, and was capable of playing both as a striker and on the left wing. Between 1950 and 1957 he scored 88 goals in 201 games for Barcelona, where he witnessed one of his most successful periods in his career. He belonged to the legendary "Five Cups-Barça" side, which won all five possible trophies in 1952. László Kubala
László Kubala ( sk, Ladislav Kubala, es, Ladislao Kubala, 10 June 1927 – 17 May 2002) was a Hungarian-Slovak professional footballer who also had Spanish citizenship. He played as a forward for Ferencváros, Slovan Bratislava, Barcelona, and Espanyol, among other clubs. Regarded as one of the best players in history, Kubala is considered a hero of FC Barcelona. A Hungarian national by birth, he also held Czechoslovak and Spanish citizenship, and played for the national teams of all three countries. Kubala was noted for his quick and skilful dribbling, composed and powerful finishing, and accuracy from free kicks.
