Tommy Morren
Thomas Morren (27 March 1871 – 29 January 1929) was an English international footballer, who played as a centre half. Early life Morren was born in Sunderland, the second of fifth children. His father was Irish. Like his father he worked as an ironfounder. Career Morren played for Middlesbrough Victoria, Middlesbrough Vulcan, Middlesbrough Ironopolis, Middlesbrough, Barnsley St Peters and Sheffield United. His solitary cap for England came in 1898, where he scored in the British Home Championship match against Ireland. Sunderland, Tyne And Wear
Sunderland () is a port city in Tyne and Wear, England. It is the City of Sunderland's administrative centre and in the historic county of Durham. The city is from Newcastle-upon-Tyne and is on the River Wear's mouth to the North Sea. The river also flows through Durham roughly south-west of Sunderland City Centre. The Royal Air Force (RAF) is the United Kingdom's air and space force. It was formed towards the end of the First World War on 1 April 1918, becoming the first independent air force in the world, by regrouping the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) and the Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS).
