Tommy Mac (musician)
Tommy Mac (born April 25, 1971) is a Canadian bassist and singer. He was the bassist of the rock band Hedley. Mac currently plays in a band called Day of the Dog as of 2021. Career Before joining Hedley, Mac revealed in an interview that he was in a band called " Jar.". Mac was also in groups such as BigFATScratch and Loco. Mac was a part of a band called Everything After with Dave Rosin and Chris Crippin who would later join Hedley. Tommy Mac joined Hedley as the bassist. Their debut single, " On My Own", reached number one on the Canadian Singles Chart. Throughout his time with the band, they have released 7 albums in which all their albums but '' Cageless'' got certified platinum. Their single " Kiss You Inside Out" peaked at number two on the Canadian Hot 100 which is their highest peaked song on that chart. Lahr
Lahr (officially Lahr/Schwarzwald since 30 September 1978) (); gsw, label=Low Alemannic, Lohr) is a town in western Baden-Württemberg, Germany, approximately 50 km north of Freiburg im Breisgau, 40 km southeast of Strasbourg, and 95 km southwest of Karlsruhe. Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. ''Famous Last Words'' is the second full-length album by Hedley released on October 30, 2007. It debuted at number three on the Canadian Albums Chart upon release. In the United States, the album is known as ''Never Too Late'' and was released on May 12, 2009. The album only includes 8 tracks from the Canadian release and contains 5 tracks from '' Hedley'', which replaced the missing tracks from ''Famous Last Words''. Unlike ''Famous Last Words'', ''Never Too Late'' has a blue background on its album cover, whereas the Canadian release has a red background on its cover. Background and recording The group began working on their second studio album in May 2007 with producers Dave Genn and Greig Nori. ''Hedley'' is the debut studio album recorded by Canadian rock band Hedley, released in Canada on September 6, 2005, through Universal Music Canada. The album reached the top 3 on the Canadian Albums Chart and has been certified double platinum by Music Canada. It garnered a nomination for Rock Album of the Year at the 2006 Juno Awards. Six tracks were released as singles: " On My Own", "Villain", "Trip", "321", "Gunnin'", and "Street Fight". The music videos for all of these songs, except "Villain" and "Street Fight", reached #1 on the MuchMusic countdown. Following Hedley signing a US record deal with Capitol Records in the summer of 2006, the album was released in the US on September 26, 2006. ''Headtrip to Nowhere'' is the major label debut album by the Canadian heavy metal band Flybanger. It was released on February 20, 2001, through Columbia Records. The CD is enhanced to include a video of the song "Outlived", not otherwise heard on the disc. The album included two tracks which had been released with the band's ''Outlived'' EP. This album was Flybanger's only major release before disbanding. Overview The album was produced by Matt Wallace, known for his work with Faith No More and Deftones. Jacob Hoggard
Jacob William Hoggard (born July 9, 1984) is a Canadian convicted sex offender and former singer-songwriter who was the lead singer for the pop-rock band Hedley. Before Hedley was formed, Hoggard competed on the second season of ''Canadian Idol'' in 2004 when he placed third. In 2018, Hoggard was arrested and charged with sexual assault and subsequently announced he would no longer be touring or performing until further notice. He has since been found guilty of sexual assault causing bodily harm and sentenced to five years in prison. He is currently out on bail pending an appeal to his conviction; acquitted of sexually assaulting a second, and facing a new, third charge of sexual assault. It was supported by the singles " Love Again" and "Better Days". The music video for the former was shot for virtual reality. The album received a Juno Award nomination for Pop Album of the Year. The album sold a total of 9,000 units. Background ''Cageless'' was released on September 29, 2017. It is their first album release with their new drummer Jay Benison. It was published every Wednesday and also published on Thursday by '' Jam!''/Canoe. It was superseded by the '' Billboard''-published Canadian Hot 100 in 2007. History In the 1960s, the Canadian music industry was disparate and regionally focused, and English-speaking Canadian artists were often overlooked in favour of American acts.
