Tommy Girvin
Tommy Girvin is a guitarist who is most famous for playing with Eddie Money, with whom he played since 1986. Prior to Eddie Money, he played in a band from southern California called Smile, which reportedly had considerable success. Smile shared the stage with Van Halen, Quiet Riot and Mötley Crüe. He also holds the logo graphics credit for Heart's 1980 album '' Bebe le Strange''. He reportedly gave Warrant guitarist Joey Allen guitar lessons. He is given special thanks in the liner notes of the Warrant album '' Cherry Pie''. It is implied, but not explicitly stated, that he may have played as an uncredited guest guitarist on the album. Upon Eddie Money's passing, Tommy ran his company, Mr. Tommy Presents. He provided musical instruction programs for children in the Tampa area. Edward Joseph Mahoney (March 21, 1949 – September 13, 2019), known professionally as Eddie Money, was an American singer and songwriter who, in the 1970s and 1980s, had eleven Top 40 songs, including "Baby Hold On", "Two Tickets to Paradise", " Think I'm in Love", " Shakin'", " Take Me Home Tonight", " I Wanna Go Back", " Walk on Water", and " The Love in Your Eyes". Critic Neil Genzlinger of ''The New York Times'' called him a working-class rocker and Kristin Hall of the Associated Press stated he had a husky voice. In 1987, he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for "Take Me Home Tonight". ''Hey Santa!'' is a Christmas album recorded by Carnie & Wendy Wilson (SBK K2-27113). It was released in October 1993, and entered the ''Billboard'' Top Pop Albums chart on Christmas Day, 1993. The album was the first album recorded by the Wilson sisters after the group Wilson Phillips went on hiatus. The album was not a commercial success, peaking at #116 on the ''Billboard'' Top Pop Albums chart, and reaching #25 on the Top Holiday Albums chart. The track listing for the album consists of eleven Christmas standards, plus the original title track, "Hey Santa!", written by the Wilson sisters and Jack Kugell. The title track is about a man returning home to his love on Christmas, after his love wished that Santa would "bring erbaby home tonight." SBK Records released one single to radio and retail. ''Terence Trent D'Arby's Symphony or Damn* (*Exploring the Tension Inside the Sweetness)'' is the third studio album by Terence Trent D'Arby, released in 1993 through Columbia Records.
