Right Here (Eddie Money Album)
''Right Here'' is the eighth studio album by the American rock musician Eddie Money. It was released in September 1991 by Columbia Records and yielded four singles, three of which would make the '' Billboard'' Hot 100 chart, including the song " I'll Get By" which made it to number 21. The video for "I'll Get By" is dedicated to the producer Bill Graham who had worked with Money on previous projects. Reaching only number 160 on the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart, ''Right Here'' would be Money's final chart appearance with an album of new material, and his singles from the album would mark his final pop chart appearances. Bill Graham (promoter)
Bill Graham (born Wulf Wolodia Grajonca; January 8, 1931 – October 25, 1991) was a German-American impresario and rock concert promoter from the 1960s until his death in 1991 in a helicopter crash. On July 4, 1939, he was sent from Germany to France due to political uncertainty in his home country. At age 10, he settled into a foster home in the Bronx, New York. Graham graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School and subsequently from City College with a business degree. In the early 1960s, Graham moved to San Francisco, and in 1965, began to manage the San Francisco Mime Troupe. He had teamed up with local Haight Ashbury promoter Chet Helms to organize a benefit concert, then promoted several free concerts. This eventually turned into a profitable full-time career and he assembled a talented staff. Tommy Girvin
Tommy Girvin is a guitarist who is most famous for playing with Eddie Money, with whom he played since 1986. Prior to Eddie Money, he played in a band from southern California called Smile, which reportedly had considerable success. Smile shared the stage with Van Halen, Quiet Riot and Mötley Crüe. He also holds the logo graphics credit for Heart's 1980 album '' Bebe le Strange''. He reportedly gave Warrant guitarist Joey Allen guitar lessons. He is given special thanks in the liner notes of the Warrant album '' Cherry Pie''. It is implied, but not explicitly stated, that he may have played as an uncredited guest guitarist on the album. Charley Drayton
Charles Leslie Drayton (born May 9, 1965) is an American multi-instrumentalist and producer, known primarily as a drummer. Monty Byrom
Monty Byrom (born 1958) is an American rock, blues and country guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer. He fronted the rock band Billy Satellite and wrote hit songs for Eddie Money. Later while leading the "soul country" band Big House, Byrom made a significant contribution to the new Bakersfield Sound, with a nod to his Bakersfield roots. Early life Byrom was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and raised in Bakersfield, California. His original musical influences were Merle Haggard, Billy Mize, Buck Owens, Otis Redding, and Bobby Womack. When he was seventeen, he joined the United States Navy.
