Tomislav Mikulić
Tomislav Mikulić (born 4 January 1982 in Vukovar) is a retired Croatian football player who played as a defender. Club career Mikulić started his career with Croatia's NK Osijek before moving to K.R.C. Genk in 2005. On 18 December 2007 he signed a -year deal with Dinamo Zagreb. He returned to Belgium in summer 2008 when he signed with Standard de Liège. In January 2013, he joined OH Leuven from Beerschot. International career Mikulić has previously been a part of the Croatian national under-21 football team, but has never been capped with the seniors. Vukovar
Vukovar () ( sr-Cyrl, Вуковар, hu, Vukovár, german: Wukowar) is a city in Croatia, in the eastern region of Slavonia. It contains Croatia's largest river port, located at the confluence of the Vuka and the Danube. Vukovar is the seat of Vukovar-Syrmia County and the second largest city in the county after Vinkovci. The city's registered population was 22,616 in the 2021 census, with a total of 23,536 in the municipality. Name The name ''Vukovar'' means 'town on the Vuka River' (''Vuko'' from the Vuka River, and ''vár'' from the Hungarian word for 'fortress'). The Belgian Super Cup ( nl, Belgische Supercup, ; french: Supercoupe de Belgique; german: Belgischer Fußball-Super Cup), ''Pro League Supercup'', is a Belgian club competition played as a single match between the Belgian First Division A champions (also received the Super Cup host) and the Belgian Cup winners. 2008–09 Belgian First Division
The 2008–09 season of the Belgian First Division (also known as ''Jupiler Pro League'' due to sponsorship reasons) was the 106th season of top-tier football in Belgium. The regular season began on 16 August 2008 and ended on 16 May 2009. Standard Liège were the defending champions. On 19 April 2009, Mons were relegated after Dender beat Roeselare 3–1 and made it mathematically impossible for Mons to climb into 16th position or higher. Tubize were relegated on 3 May 2009 after a 1–1 draw at home to Anderlecht. The 2008–09 champions were decided in a playoff because Standard and Anderlecht finished the regular season equal on points and number of wins. Standard won the playoff by 2–1 on aggregate and thereby retained the title. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium.
