Tomi Rantamäki
Tomi Rantamäki (born 18 September 1968) is a Finnish curler. He competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics in the mixed doubles competition. He and partner Oona Kauste placed 7th. Oona Kauste
Oona Kauste (born 4 January 1988, in Espoo) is a Finnish curler from Helsinki. She is currently the skip of the Finnish National Women's team. Career Women's Kauste has represented Finland in seven European Curling Championships. She was an alternate at her first European Championships in 2009. The team, skipped by Ellen Vogt placed 8th. She played second and as a skip at the 2011 European Curling Championships, placing 12th. She returned the following year playing third for Anne Malmi, placing 10th. She returned to the Euros at the 2013 European Curling Championships playing second for Puustinen. The team finished in 11th place, winning the B Division, and promoting Finland to the A Division of the 2014 European Curling Championships. There, the team finished with a 5–4 record, and a 6th-place finish. This qualified Finland for the 2015 World Women's Curling Championship. Curling At The 2018 Winter Olympics – Mixed Doubles Tournament
The mixed doubles curling tournament of the 2018 Winter Olympics was held at the Gangneung Curling Centre from 8 to 13 February 2018. Eight nations competed in a round robin preliminary round, and the top four nations at the conclusion of the round robin qualified for the medal round. This was the first time mixed doubles was held at the Winter Olympics. On 18 February 2018, it was reported that bronze medallist Alexander Krushelnitskiy of the Olympic Athletes from Russia team had failed a drug test and was awaiting a test of the B sample. After the testing of the B sample that was also positive, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) confirmed that they were instituting formal proceedings; three days later, CAS disqualified the Olympic Athletes from Russia team and stripped them of the bronze medal, which was reawarded to the Norwegian team.
