Tomas Andersson Wij (born 6 February 1972, birthname: ''Tomas Per Andersson''), often abbreviated as TAW, is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and journalist. Early life He was born on 6 February 1972 in Stockholm, Sweden and raised in the south suburbs Fruängen and Sköndal. Journalist and editor Between years 1990 and 1997, Tomas Andersson Wij was a writer in ''Svenska Dagbladet'', as well as Swedish music magazine ''Pop'' and Swedish entertainment publication ''Nöjesguiden''. In the mid 1990s, he was editor of the television show ''Knesset'' on ZTV (Sweden), ZTV. He also worked as a DJ for ''Sveriges Radio'' in the summer of 2000. He has edited two anthologies, ''Solidaritet'' (Cordia 1998) and ''Boken om Recovery'' (Libris, 2002). He is cofounder and coeditor alongside Sven-Gösta Holst for the existentialist journal ''Von Oben'', which published two issues in 2002 and 2003. Erik Torsten "Totta" Näslund (1 April 1945 – 19 June 2005) was a Swedish blues musician and actor. Biography Näslund was born in Sandviken and grew up in the small northern town Köpmanholmen, but moved to Gothenburg in 1970 to find work. He was working in the Gothenburg docks when he joined Nynningen, a rock group with leftist political texts and inspired by the Russian Communist poet Mayakovsky. Totta Näslund became the group's main singer. In the mid-1970s, Nynningen fused with Nationalteatern, a musical theater ensemble with many members. Totta Näslund joined the group as singer, guitar-player and actor. Nationalteatern developed away from the theater and became a straight rock group, a ''rock orchestra'' as they called themselves. Berndt Arvid Freddie Wadling (2 August 1951 – 2 June 2016) was a Swedish singer born in Gothenburg, whose over-thirty-year musical career extended from punk to classical ballads. Band member Wadling played bass in a number of bands during the 1970s and early 1980s. One notable band was Liket Lever (which translates as The Corpse Lives). In the early 1980s, he joined the cult band Cortex. During this period, Cortex released the album ''Spinal Injuries'', in 1981. The track "The Freaks", sung by Wadling, became a signature song for him and was used in the soundtrack to '' Tjenare Kungen''. He also played in the bands Straitjacket, Leather Nun, and Fleshquartet. Wadling was also featured in band Kingdom of Evol.
