Tom O'Connor (Gaelic Footballer)
Thomas O'Connor (3 November 1918 – 26 February 1997) was an Irish Gaelic footballer. At club level he played with Dingle GAA club and was an All-Ireland Championship-winning captain with the Kerry senior football team. Playing career Born in Dingle, O'Connor first enjoyed footballing success at provincial level as a student with Dingle CBS. He progressed to inter-county level as captain of the Kerry minor football team that lost to Louth in the 1936 All-Ireland final. O'Connor was a late addition to the Kerry senior team the following year and claimed his first All-Ireland Senior Football Championship medal after coming on as a substitute in the replay defeat of Cavan. He claimed a second All-Ireland winners' medal as Kerry's team captain in the 1939 All-Ireland championship, the first of three successive final victories. Seán Brosnan
Seán Brosnan (21 December 1916 – 18 April 1979) was an Irish barrister and Fianna Fáil politician. He served for 10 years in the Oireachtas, as a Teachta Dála (TD) and as a senator. Brosnan was a native of Dingle, County Kerry. He was a prominent Gaelic footballer and won 3 All-Ireland medals with Kerry. In 1939, he was captain of the team but could not play in the final due to influenza. In 1933, he won an All-Ireland Minor Football Championship with Kerry. He won senior Kerry County Championship medals with Dingle GAA in 1938 and 1941. Bill Kinnerk
William Kinnerk (14 November 1907 – 6 September 1983) was an Irish Gaelic footballer and local politician. At club level he played with the John Mitchels club and was an All-Ireland Championship medallist with the Kerry senior football team. Playing career Born in Tralee, Kinnerk first played competitive Gaelic football with Tralee Technical School. After lining out with a number of local clubs, he joined John Mitchels and claimed his first Kerry Senior Football Championship medal in his debut year in 1929. He claimed a second county medal as team captain in 1937. Kinnerk first joined the Kerry senior football team in 1932 and ended the year by winning his first All-Ireland Senior Football Championship medal as a substitute. He broke onto the starting fifteen the following year, and was a regular member of the team until his retirement after a tour of the United States in 1939.
