Tom Kühnhackl
Tom Kühnhackl (born 21 January 1992) is a German professional ice hockey player with Skellefteå AIK of the Swedish Hockey League. He previously played in the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders as well as for Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), the top-tier hockey league of Germany. He was a top-ranked prospect for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, ranked eighth among European skaters by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau, and was selected 110th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins. Kühnhackl was selected by the Windsor Spitfires 24th overall in the 2009 CHL Import Draft and moved to North America for the 2010–11 season. After several seasons with the Penguins' minor league affiliates, Kühnhackl made his NHL debut with the team in 2016. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League, and are the AHL affiliates of the National Hockey League's Pittsburgh Penguins. American Hockey League
The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary Minor league#Ice hockey, developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). Since the 2010–11 AHL season, 2010–11 season, every team in the league has an affiliation agreement with one NHL team. When NHL teams do not have an AHL affiliate, players are assigned to AHL teams affiliated with other NHL teams. 2012–13 AHL Season
The 2012–13 AHL season was the 77th season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began on October 12, 2012 and ended on April 21, 2013. The 2013 Calder Cup playoffs followed the conclusion of the regular season. The Calder Cup was won by the Grand Rapids Griffins for their first Calder Cup in franchise history. Regular season On June 28, the Board of Governors approved a minor realignment for the league for the 2012–13 season. The only changes were made in the Western Conference, as three teams swapped divisions for this season: Abbotsford moves to the North Division, Grand Rapids moves to the Midwest Division and Charlotte moves to the newly renamed South Division (formerly West Division). Ryan Murphy (born March 31, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing with Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He was originally drafted in the first round, 12th overall, by the Carolina Hurricanes during the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Murphy was selected by the Kitchener Rangers third overall in the 2009 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Bantam Draft. He began his first season as a 16-year-old and led the OHL in rookie defencemen scoring, scoring 39 points in 62 games playing on a defensive pairing with Columbus Blue Jackets first-rounder John Moore. Kitchener Rangers
The Kitchener Rangers are a major junior ice hockey team based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. They are members of the Midwest Division of the Western Conference of the Ontario Hockey League. The Rangers have won the J. Ross Robertson Cup as OHL champions in 1981, 1982, 2003 and 2008. The Niagara IceDogs are a major junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League based in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. The franchise was originally known as the Mississauga IceDogs and founded in 1996.
