Tom Hoge
Tom Hoge (; born May 25, 1989) is an American professional golfer. Amateur career Hoge was born in Statesville, North Carolina and grew up and still resides in Fargo, North Dakota. He played college golf at Texas Christian University where he won two events. He placed tied for third in the individual portion of the 2009 NCAA Golf Championship. He also won several North Dakota and Minnesota amateur titles. Professional career Hoge turned professional after graduating from college in 2011. He started playing on the Canadian Tour and won the 2011 Canadian Tour Players Cup. He played on the Web.com Tour from 2012 to 2014 and has played on the PGA Tour since 2015. His best finishes on the Web.com Tour were a pair of second-place finishes at the 2013 BMW Charity Pro-Am and the 2015 Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Ryan Hunter Palmer (born September 19, 1976) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Early life and amateur career Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, Palmer graduated from Amarillo High School in 1995. Charley Lindley Hoffman (born December 27, 1976) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Early years and amateur career Born in San Diego, California, Hoffman won the California state high school championship in 1994 and 1995, becoming the first two-time winner. He graduated from Poway High School in 1995. He qualified three times for the Buick Invitational as an amateur. Sahith Reddy Theegala (born December 4, 1997) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Early life Theegala was born in 1997 in Fullerton, California, to Muralidhar and Karuna Theegala and has a younger brother. QBE Shootout
The QBE Shootout is a team golf event that takes place on the PGA Tour as an unofficial money event. It was originally played during the off-season, but now it is played during the wrap-around season's December break. The event began in 1989, as the RMCC Invitational. It is hosted by golfer Greg Norman. The tournament was soon renamed the Shark Shootout after Norman's nickname, and has had several names since (see Winners below ). The first eleven editions of the tournament were played at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California (1989–99). Bobcat North Dakota Open
The North Dakota Open is the North Dakota state open golf tournament, open to both amateur and professional golfers. History The inaugural event was in 1964. The event was one-round long and had a purse of $2,000. Eddie Langert of St. Paul, Minnesota shot a par-72 to win the tournament by three strokes over Corky Dahl, Herb Marcussen, and Paul O'Leary. The following year the tournament increased to two rounds long. In addition, prize money increased to $3,500 and the winner's cheque was now $600. George Shortridge shot an opening round 73 (+1) to take a one-stroke lead. He led by one over Langert and Byron Comstock. A further shot behind were a number of players including Corky Dahl and Fargo's "host pro" Jack Webb. Langert and Webb outplayed all competitors during the final round and were "deadlocked" down the stretch.
